To reserve rental items, simply reach out to us with your item selections, event date, and delivery or pickup preference. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll send over a rental agreement. A 50% non-refundable deposit and signed agreement are required to secure your items. Final quantities and payment are due seven (7) days prior to the rental start date. Please note: all reservations are subject to availability until the deposit and agreement are received.

Our handling and restocking fee helps cover the time and care involved in preparing, packing, and restocking your rental items. This includes cleaning, quality checks, protective packaging, and coordination with your delivery or pickup schedule. It ensures every piece arrives in perfect condition and is returned to our inventory safely. The fee is calculated as a percentage (7%) of your total rental cost and will be clearly listed in your quote.

Yes, all rental items must be returned clean and in the same condition in which they were received. If items are returned dirty or require excessive cleaning, a flat cleaning fee of $150 will be charged at the discretion of Studio Kizis, Inc. This fee will be billed to the credit card on file.

Yes. You may make changes to your rental order up to seven (7) days prior to the rental start date, subject to availability. If items are added or removed, your total will be adjusted accordingly. Any approved additional items will be charged to the credit card on file 24 hours before the rental begins.

Cancellations made more than seven (7) days prior to the rental start date will forfeit the 50% deposit but will not incur additional charges. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the rental start date may be subject to full payment depending on the status of inventory and labor already committed. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Yes. A $50 late fee per day will be charged to the credit card on file for each calendar day the items are not returned after the agreed-upon rental period. These charges will continue to accrue until all items are returned or their full replacement value is billed.

Pickup and return at our Santa Monica studio is complimentary. Delivery and retrieval services are available based on availability and location, and are priced according to the distance from our studio in Santa Monica, CA. For more details, please request our Los Angeles delivery zone map.

Yes, we are required to charge California sales tax on all rental orders. Under California law, the rental of tangible personal property — such as vases and decorative objects — is considered a taxable transaction, regardless of whether the items are returned.
Even if you hold a resale license, if the items are being used and then returned (not resold to another customer), the transaction is still classified as a taxable rental.
